We wanted to give our oddly-shaped, poorly-furnished
sitting room a radical makeover with new furniture, flooring, shelving and a built-in
window seat. We had a few ideas, but didn't really know where to start.
We
found Joyce through her website, and a few months later we have a completely revitalised
room. We love it. It's a light, airy space with an uncluttered Mediterranean feel
and a colour scheme that works perfectly. The furniture, shelves and storage are
tailored to our needs and tastes, and the lighting is subtle and flexible to suit
all occasions.
Joyce was invaluable. From the start, she worked with us, never
imposing her ideas but making helpful suggestions with endless patience. She was

lighting,
fabrics and furnishings, such as where to find just the right shade of blue for
the sofas or the perfect lamp for the corner. From a pool of top-quality craftspeople
she called in a flooring specialist, cabinet maker, decorator, electrician, plasterer,
sofa-maker, upholster, maker of Roman blinds, and even the man who put the blinds
up. She co-ordinated their work, checking frequently on progress with an eye for
detail so that the finished product is top-quality.
In short, Joyce is a treasure.
She's also a pleasure to do business with and excellent value-for-money. We would
never have achieved our lovely room without her help.

We
commissioned Joyce Porter to refurbish our Board Room which had not been redecorated
for at least 18 years.
Joyce came up with a stylish and workable
scheme which suited our early Victorian building in Clifton and kept within cost
restraints. Joyce oversaw all the work and kept her sub-contractors on schedule
and all the work was carried out in a clean and efficient manner.
We would
certainly use Joyce again on any future projects.
